A Couple Tire Questions...

First off, I'll start with that I have a 2015 Willys with the stock BFG M/T tires. My current and future use will include snow, beach sand, and unpaved back roads.

My questions.

1. Will the BFGs be be suitable for those tasks? I've read here that M/T are not going to perform as well as an A/T tire for those situations.

2. Will Duratracs handle all of those situations better than the BFGs? I know they have better road manners and will handle snow better than the BFGs, but how do they do in sand?

3. If I end up getting the Duratracs, what should I sell my BFGs for? I have 4 tires under 1000 miles and the spare that's never been used. Never dabbled in a used tire market.

Thanks

This has been posted before by someone else, but I just now checked and Quadratec still says (emphasis mine):
The BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM P255/75R17 (32x10.04R17) Tires are the same tires fitted to all 07 and up Wrangler Rubicons & Wrangler Unlimited Rubicons at the factory. These standard 32” off-road tires have a custom tread pattern that is exclusive to the Jeep brand. With more tread blocks with biting edges for foul weather, these tires are sized perfectly for non-lifted vehicles and provide excellent traction in all weather conditions.

Here's the link:
BFGoodrich 86927 - BF Goodrich® Mud-Terrain T/A® KM-DT Tire in LT255/75R17 with Black Side Wall - Quadratec

I'm going to stick with the stock tires on my own 2015 Willys into my first winter here in Flagstaff to see how they do. If I'm not happy, then I'll switch. Having been a Minnesota boy the first 65 years of my life, I 'spect I'm a pretty good judge of snow tires by now....

Just my 1 cent worth.

Anyone else? I'd figure with as many people running Duratracs, I would have more replies by now.
