AEV Pintler on lifted JK?

Anyone running AEV Pintlers? Do the tires rub? Most lifts recommend less than 4.5" BS but these have 4.7". Thinking of going with a 3" lift. Therefore, I am concerned about buying these and having to also run a spacers. Probably going to go with no more than a 285/75R17 (33.8") tire.

Pintlers

I have them on my 2012 JKU with a RK 2.5" Max Travel running 35x12.5x17 Nitto Trail Grapplers. No rubbing to speak of. I get some rub when the wheel is hard to one side when backing up, but I think that's because the tires are so huge. I think the tires you mentioned would be fine. I bought those rims because there are not many rims available that are hub centric and guaranteed for life, and TPMS compatable. They might be $50-$75 more than a no-name rim, but the guarantee is worth it. IMO you won't need, or want spacers.

Hog, Thanks for the info. Yeah, I do not want to run spacers if I can help it.
