Another tire and wheel question...

I've scoured every jeep site and googled every imaginable question about tires and wheels. Hopefully someone here can help me.
I currently have the factory 7.5" Moab's on my 2016 JK Sport and I want to keep these wheels. I am also running 285/70/17 Mastercraft MXT's. These are great tires, but I am very disappointed in their overall size. My dad just bought some 31x10.50x15 KO2's and they're almost the same size. I was expecting 33's and feel like I got the shaft.
My question is, is there a 33" tire out there that is close to the advertised height and width? I have 3:21's and I have no plans to regear in the future and I really don't want 35's. This is my DD and I wheel it about 4-6 times a year. Snow performance is important also. I prefer an MT or a hybrid. I'm really interested in the Yokohama G003's but they are too new for reviews. The Nitto Ridge Grappler is a possibility also. I'd just like to know how they measure up once they're under the Jeep. Im open to other tire suggestions too.

I forgot to mention my current suspension set up is just a TF 1.5" leveling kit.
I have 18/60 springs and Rubi shocks I'll probably install this coming Spring.
Possibly with a 1" spacer in front, if needed.

Next step would either be a 295-70-75 and then 285-75-17. More selection in the former than the latter. Still not sure which way I'm going when I wear out the current 275-70-17 KO2's. With the leveling kit you can clear 34" tires.

Thanks for the reply.
I haven't ruled out 34's. I've noticed the 285/75's and 305/70's and I really like the Ridge Grapplers and I know I would be happier with them, as far as looks go. My concern with the 34's is my 3:21 gears. They're really not too much smaller than 315's and I don't want a tire that will suck out all the performance. I know many JK owners prefer 35's, but I kinda like 33's on a two door. I just don't want to spend a small fortune on tires and end up regretting my purchase again. I'd really like to see someone with the new G003's in a 295's and get some real world measurements under load, and also some info on how well they do off road and in snow. I really like that tire.

According to your profile, you have a 2005 Willy's. I am assuming you mean 2015. First I thought that all Willy's editions had 3.73 axles. Her 15 JKUR is an auto which came with 3.73 ratio and we are running the 295-70-18 with 1.5" wheel spacers and a TF leveling kit. I had to trim the airdam a little to clear the front tires at full steering lock. In contrast to my 09, it moves along pretty well. Now my friend has a 2012 JKS with 3.21 gears and running 285/70/17 tires and hers goes fine as well. IMO with the 3.6 torque curve and power, it will make a difference but not as much as it would with a 3.8.

Yeah, I really need to update that profile. I had an 05 Willys and currently own a 2016 JK Sport. I wish I had the 3:73's; I wouldn't have a problem at all with tire choices.
Thanks for letting me know about my profile. I'll have to get in that later on.
Nice Jeep, by the way. According to tire size.com, your 295/70/18's are a smidge taller than a 305/70/17. It has a good stance to it and the tires fill out the wheels wells nicely.
Are you able to wheel with that set up? I'm thinking I might need to add longer bump stops.

The pic didn't show up for me. How do the Maxx's compare in size to the STT Pro's? Reading in previous posts on this site, I read that the Maxx's were wide and looked almost like 35's. If the Pro's are the same, I might be sold on them. I've never seen them in person, though, in my neck of the woods.
