Question Are folding lug wrenches any good?

I've always been a fan of the 4-way "cross bar" lug wrenches. I like that I can apply even pressure on the lug nuts to avoid stripping them.
Now that I have a JK with the nifty storage compartment in the back, I'd like to find a folding cross bar wrench to carry there, I'm just not sure how sturdy they are.
I have seen a couple of different styles and wondering if one is better than another or if they are any good at all. I'd hate to get a flat on a trail out in the boonies and have my lug wrench break on me. If is comes down to it, I'll figure out a way to secure my standard cross bar wrench to my hi-lift jack.

Any advice is welcome.

I bought one from walmart for $25 last year and the thing hasn't failed me yet. It does have a hard time reaching into wheels with deep backspacing though.
