I've owned them for about 3 months now and have no bad comments at all. Rain-excellent, Snow-excellent, Street-excellent and quiet! Mud-excellent. I really have liked them so far.

The Km2 is an excellent tire. They are one of the best MT's on the market today. They consistently get great reviews from daily drivers. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Been running this line of BFG's since 04-05?. 2 are still the originals and have about 30 percent tread still on them. Wear great and have multi state road trips and 90% of time this is my daily driver. I use on rocks and in mud---absolutely nothing bad I can say about these tires.

Learn to play the game.

1) Get a written quote from a dealer you don't want to buy the tires from.
2) Take that quote to another dealer you don't want to buy the tires from; typically they will try to beat any written quote.
3) Repeat until you get the price of the tires to match or below the Tirerackdotcome or other internet price (without shipping/handling).
4) Take your lowest quote to the tire shop you most trust & have them either match or beat that quote.

I do this EVERY TIME I buy tires. I just got a set of 5 Goodyear DuraTracs for the tirerackdotcom price, mounted & balanced @ no extra charge! It took about a week of me going around to different shops & pitting them against each other. I enjoy the game & have gotten pretty good at it over the years.

I also enjoy the game of buying used cars from dealers. But that's me. You on the other hand may think that time is money & I don't have time to do all of that tom-foolery.

We guarantee the lowest delivered price.

If anyone has a lower delivered price (advertised) we'll beat it. Just give us a call.

We also give WF members $50.00 off their total if they purchase 5 tires for their Jeep through our mail order division. (can not be combined with a price match) All you need to do is call 1.888.459.4080.

See? Now do this for a few different shops like I mentioned above, and you can get the price per tire down as much as $50. Companies want your money and want you as a repeat customer. Use this to your advantage to make a deal that is mutually satisfactory for both you and the dealer.

Set on these tires. Will go with 32 11.50. Next question is will they fit on stock rims?! I'm pretty clueless when it comes to automobiles! I'm hoping my jeep will change that!

Mike,
I would not go with the stock wheel, I run soft 8's with 4" backspacing and only have about an inch to spare on my rear spring pearch with 32x11.50's. By the way for an agressive tire they are pretty quiet.

K well after beating myself up about it for the past day and a half I'm Gunna get some wheels too! Might as well right?!?!  32x11.50 tires and not quite sure about the wheel yet have a few options I'm considering but don't have the links or names off hand( at work right now). I'll put em on here later tonight get some opinions bc I'm stuck and can't decide!! Always can trust the opinions on the forum!

Played that game all day yesterday.... I too enjoy the thrill of the hunt, as it were. Only problem I've run into is that most places will only price match after factoring in the shipping... which makes them all fairly even in price. Ie... store A's price includes free shipping, store B's price is $30 lower per tire, but once shipping is factored in the savings is eaten up. Takes a lot of time and notebook paper to keep track of everything, but if it's worth it to you to save a few bucks then it's kind of a fun game.

OP, make sure you consider all the ways there are to save... Treadlightly rebate of $100 on GY Wrangler tires, is definitely worth looking into, and this cracks me up, but you bet I'm gonna take advantage of it... My local Sears store has "mall appreciation" day on Wednesdays... 10% off if I buy on Weds.... What a deal! Make sure you ask for all available discounts... If you don't ask they don't tell you. And make sure you're comparing apples to apples...

Ok settled on the soft 8. Like the look and the price. Think I'll need some spacers with only 4" bs. (Gunna put 32's on with a 2" lift. Don't know if that matters)?!?Anyways now the question is silver or black?! I have a green 99 sahara... Maybe I'll just get 2 of each and flip a coin for the spare.

quick question.. I'm ordering my tires as we speak. I want to hold off on buying the lift bc the weather has been bad and I haven't been able to get the hours in I was hoping for (joys of carpentry in the winter!)... anyways.. I'm getting 32" tires... I'm pretty sure I know the answer already but doesn't hurt to ask! any possible chance those babies will fit without the lift?!? It will kill me seeing those tires lay in the garage for a week or 2!!!

You're going from 29" tires to 32" tires. That's a total of 3" which is 1.5" taller than what you have now. Measure the gap between your tires and your fenders with your current tires. Then make an educated decision based on how/where you drive.

Look at my pics in my profile. My tires are about 32.5" tall. I have a 2" BB. The gap with the BB is about the same as it was with the stock tire / shock configuration. I test fit my tires/wheels before putting on the lift. It was WAY TIGHTER than I thought it would be!

Choose wisely...

It was just a thought! I have 30's on there now and I doubt 32's would fit. Inwas just seein if maybe someone tried it out! Before I did!! Ill wait until I throw the lift on before I mess with it!!

I was running 32X10.5 on my stock rubicon. And they fit perfect!...for highway tires zero flex room. If you want em on throw em on but get the lift soon. It will make you sad not being able to see your springs and shocks.

Maybe I'll put one on and see how it looks. Plan on ordering the lift sometime next week so won't be a problem!
