bfg km3

Ok so this may have been posted a few months ago, but I'm a little late to the game, and recently saw a thread with the possibility km3 tread design which is the mud terrain in this picture.

It looks as if bfg is trying to incorporate all of its newest puncture resistance and tougher side Walls into all of its tires. And just as the km2 mimmiced the krawler, this new km3 seems to somewhat reassemble the kr2. Any thoughts and or have you guys heard anything?

If true, they are keeping it very quiet. Too bad, as they basically lost this season while several new tires came out. Hopefully they will make sure the 33s are 32.5 and the 35s are 34+, and so on.

Yeah, smaller than Goodyears, Nittos, and Toyos- from all I have measured. Coopers run small too.

My KM2s with 18,500 mi. looked "new" to the technician at America's Tire when I had my tires balanced and rotated in early August. The KM3s look like a great tire that I will look forward to running in a few years - if my KM2s wear down by then.

Not sure if there was any truth to this rumor but if so, all info has died on the vine. I'd be open to it, since I have eliminated all Coopers, Toyos, and Nittos, due to the weight and the Coopers just run too small and are heavy too. At this point, the MTRs are back at #1 status.

I think the KM3 is catching traction - I've had a few other members ask about this tire recently.

While I do not have an official release date, it's my understanding that this tire may be available come June or July of this year.
