BFG tires for a JK

I run BFG's AT's on my work truck and get great mileage and good
traction.
I like the looks of the BFG MT KM2, this will go on a new JKU
used mostly on road but some off road, with some mud and snow.

I just donít like the square shoulder of the AT's on a jeep

anybody running the KM2's on the road? Noise? traction , wear?

letís hear your thoughts/ concerns

looking at 35/12.50-17

Thats exactly the size shoes i have on my JK.Its actually quiet for a mud tire and it wears good, excellent traction on wet roads and off road. The only bad about it is the sidewall being too soft for a 3 ply.Highly recommend as a DD and for minor wheeling.

Not quite as big, we're only running the 31/1050/15 KM2's on our TJ, but love em.
Much quieter then the Goodyear AT's that were on it, have not had a problem myself or the wifey, (And I'd hear about it) with it in the rain, and we get some nasty rain down here. 70 mph and not a shimmy.

Maybe 400 miles on em, and the tits are still showing in a lot of places.

I've got just under 50k on my KM2s on my hemi. people have some gripes on the tires but IMO they are the best DD/wheeling tire you can buy. they are not bad to drive everyday vs most other MTs. they stick like glue on the rocks if you get a little heat in them and if you keep up on your rotations you can get some damn good mileage out of them

I am running the same tires 25/12.5/17, I am happy with them. I believe when these wear out I will go with another set.

I'm getting KM2s installed on my TJ 33x12.50x15 on Friday. The 3 tires I had in mind were DuraTrac, KM2 and Mickey Baja MTZ. I narrowed it down to KM2 and Baja. Based on the Massive Mud Tire Shootout review done by Four Wheeler, the KM2 had a better durometer reading than the Baja. This lead to having slightly better wear. Interestingly enough, the KM2 was actually heavier than the Baja too.

Good luck with your choice.

I have been running 35x12.5 KM2's on my Jeep for a while now. I love them. The road noise is low in comparison to my MT ATZ's. They perform well offroad as well.
