They're great on and off road... Mine only have about 3500 miles on them but they still look new. Good in rain, snow, ice, mud, dry pavement... I love them, and they look great! Check with Tread Lightly - Home and see if the rebate is still going on for them...

Just an added note. I've had mine over a year and put approx, 12,000 on them with no significant tread wear at all. These tires are awesome and the road manners are exceptional. I run about 29psi on the road and about 17-19 offroad.

Hi all, new member here. I have been searching and lurking for a few weeks now but now I'm in for good. I am interested in the 265/70/16 Duratracs as well. I noticed that the Speed Rating is C but you guys are talking about the highway. From my understanding they are Speed rated C which is only at like 40 mph. Sorry for the noob question, but is the C speed rated tire good on the highway for 65-75 mph?

specifically:

C is actually the load range. The speed rating is Q. which is 99mph.

Tread Lightly - Goodyear Rebate for Tread Lightly! Members Here's the page with the rebate info... Definitely worth the $25 to become a member. You can use any other rebates along with this one too!

Thank you McGuyver. Maybe the information is wrong on the sears site unless they also make a C load range and C speed rated tire...

Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac

Click the sizing and prices button.... they are metric sizes for 17's and probably load range E tires in those sizes...

Goodyear site has them listed for a 17" wheel. Just not really in a 32" tire... Seems to be a 31.7 or a 32.8...

So those of us happy with a 32, with stock 17" wheels need to go to a 31" tire or a 33"?

31.7 is considered a 32" tire, 32.8 a 33. Few, if any, tires are truly 31", 32", 33"...etc...

Love my Duratracs. They are one of the best AT tires I have ever had. Like someone else said, they are quiet on the road and great for snow, wet pavement, mud and sand. I give them a thumbs up for sure. I am rocking the 31's on my 02 TJ.

Hey ctjeep... What kind of rear bumper is that and is it tow rated? Nice simple setup there, like it a lot. Rims? Lift?

Thanks Jon, it is a bestop and it is tow rated. The rims are cragar V-5 with black center caps from Summit and black ProComp lugs.

As for the lift..it is kind of a long story. I bought the Jeep a year ago and all it had was a rusted front bumper, a winch and "lift". I was told it was a two inch lift but it isn't a budget boost so if it has a lift, it would have to be a coil lift. There are no markings on the springs or shocks and they are both pretty rusted up. I have tried to figure out if I have a lift or not by taking measurements from the ground to the rocker, but the 31's are throwing off that measurment so I can't figure it out. It doesn't look stock to me. I plan on doing a 2 or a 2.5 coil lift next summer so I will know then.

Measure your springs, then compare them to this chart. That will tell you how much, if any lift you have....

Thanks Inferno. We had this same chat on the other forum and I remember you posted this. When I measured, they are a hair over 13 in the front and a little over 9 in the back. It still doesn't answer my question because I have never heard of a 1 inch coil lift. I really don't think they are Rubicon Springs either since they are rusted to hell and have no markings or indication that they are Mopar (I have never seen factory springs rust like this). I did notice that they were coated/painted with a gray coating and factory springs are black (I think). The only thing I can think of is that it is a 2 inch spring lift that is experiencing sag due to the bumper/winch etc. The set up is pretty old so that is my best guess.
