First Flat - Toyo Open Country M/T 35x12.5x17

Got my first flat a couple weeks ago, NTB fussed about fixing it, saying it was too close to the sidewall. Only had my camera phone, so I couldn't take a good inside shot. Any thoughts on if this is too close to the sidewall for anything other than a spare? It's still holding air after two weeks.

IMO it is plenty far away to plug or for about $25 you could have a tire shop
patch from the inside

IMO its far enough into the tread for a patch. A lot of tire places like to complain / not patch tires. I'm thinking its b/c they would rather sell you a new one.
