Good Combo for a JKU?

I have a 2007 JKU with currently stock 17" wheels and P255/75R17 Goodyear tires. I have been wanting to upgrade for a little while now and I think I have found a combination of wheels and tires that I am ready to pull the trigger on:

17x9 Mickey Thompson SideBiter wheels with 5x5 bolt pattern & 4 1/2" backspacing, and LT285/70R17 Dick Cepek Crushers (measure 33x11.5" by Quadratec).

Does anybody seen an issue with this wheel and tire combination for a stock JKU? I've read different things on if any lift would be required for a 33" tire; does anybody have some experience with this? Will I have any issues mounting this combo on my stock spare tire rack? Thanks.

You can run 33s in any variety on your JKU without a lift.
You can put those on your stock spare tire hinges without any problems.
The backspacing of those wheels should be enough to put your tires out far enough to avoid rubbing but I can't say for certain.

You should be fine with that set up. Our wheels have the same specs, but we have 315's on 2.5" lift....

You should have no issues. My Mickeys are 33 x 12.50. No rubbing or issues on tire carrier
