Good tire sizes for a lift?

Hello all. I have a 2002 Wrangler, never messed with it much except for needed tune-ups and all of that. But now that I've come into some money, I've decided to get a lift and some new tires. Please excuse my ignorance on these things. I'm planning to get this 4.5" lift:
Rubicon Express 4.5" Super-Flex™ Suspension System for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec

I figure that the stock tires would look bad with such a lift. My buddy suggested these tires:
Pro Comp Xtreme All Terrain Radial Tire on 51 Series Steel Wheel Qty 5 for Jeep® Vehicles with 5x4.5 Bolt Pattern - Quadratec

If anything, I am looking at the 33"x12.5" R 15s. What do you guys think? I'm not sure on how they would look. I know its gonna cost me my left nut but I guess that's what you have to do to have a bad ass jeep, right? I am completely open to any suggestions. Also, for those of you who know about lift kits, what else would I need to get to have it completely done? Sorry if this isn't in the right category for the lift kit stuff. Or would those tires clear without the lift? Pictures would help me a lot. Thanks!

What's up man I have 01 TJ getting worked on right now that has the same lift and same tires 33x12.5. It's in the shop getting rust repair if you want it will be done some time this week I will post some pics up so you can get a good idea. Some guys say there are better lift kits out there but not sure, I am new to the my self but the pics will give you a idea on how it will look.

33's are the average jeep owners choice for a 4" lift. If you just do mild offroading and drive your jeep on the street a lot my personal opinion is that is the perfect setup for someone wanting a lifted jeep. Don't forget the driveline and steering though. Your going to want a t case drop or slip yoke eliminator to eliminate vibrations in the rear.

Google has plenty of pics to see if it is the 'look' your going for.

Instead of the RE I'd call these guys Rokmen - Off Road and tell them what you want to do, they'll set you up right. I probably wouldn't go 4.5 inches either, 4" max.

I'm working on a similar setup but going to 35's. That RE kit is leaving out a lot of stuff that you WILL NEED as in, not optional. About $500 worth. Further, those aren't the best quality arms.

Personally, I'd do something like the 2.5in OME ultimate kit from Old Man Emu Ultimate TJ/LJ Wrangler Kit | or ask for something similar from rokmen which will get you on 33's. Then, if you still want better from there, you'll want to load up on currie/savvy/rokmen control arms and go with a tummy tuck, SYE and Cardan shaft.

At that point you'll be sitting on around 3.75in lift (2.5spring + 1.25 BL), with 2 inches more ground clearance undearneath by losing the shovel and can add on rokmen's other armor pieces for the oil pan, etc.

If you want more lift at that point, all (purchase wise) you need to do is add new 4" springs, longer shocks and get the length of the drive shaft adjusted (about $150). But that's not necessary at all for any trail really, just personal pref.
