Help me pick my tires

I am in the market for a set of 33/12.50/15 currently looking at Goodyear Duratrac and the BDG KM2.

I do mostly highway driving back and forth to work as jeep is my dd. I do participate in off-road trail riding. Not looking for a straight tread or all mud tire, I am wanting something to serve as both decent mileage tire and fairly quick on blacktop.

If you had to purchase an aggressive all terrain what would it be

Thanks

Duratrac, altho im assuming you meant to say KO2 not KM2 the KM2 is their mud terrain tire. Im still saying Duratrac tho.

Ive had both. Duratracs on my lifted 2014 grand cherokee, and 35" km2's on my wrangler. My wrangler was a DD, and i loved the km2s. Very aggressive looking, but somehow, fairly quiet and smooth on the road and at high speeds. Im looking to buy another set of KM2's for another jeep now.

I just took off my brand new set of Duratracs (look in the for sale section!) and put on the BFG KM2s .. 2 out of my last 3 outings I tore open the sidewalls of the Duratracs.. had to replace one, the other has a pretty nasty gouge.. it seems the Duratrac sidewalls are made of tissue-paper.. Also the KM2 are real MTs.. the Duratracs arent.. If you dont do a lot of offroading the Duratracs would be a better choice.. lighter and quieter.. if you do a lot of offroading you'll want the BFGs.

@djackson ... My jk came with oem KM tires and I switched them out to 35" KO2's. I get better gas mileage on the KO2's as opposed to the smaller mud terrains.

You'll get better mileage with all terrains than mud terrains/hybrids.
