What is "stick out too much" to you?

Here in PA, the tread must be completely covered by the flare to be legal.

On my 05 LJ, I run a 15 x 7 wheel with 3.75 backspacing. Running with 10.5" wide tires, this puts 1.25" of tread beyond my stock flares. To compensate, I removed my stock flares and installed Rubicon flares, which are 1" wider than stock. This leaves me with about 1/4" of tread beyond my flares... not quite legal in PA but close enough for my inspection station...

What kind of wheel are you looking at? My wheels have 3-5/8" Backspacing. My tires will stick out alittle more than 3.75", with 33x12.50x15 tires. take a look at my profile pics.
