I hope this is what i think it is

Was inspecting my tires, removing some pebbles that were ticking and bugging me and saw this.

I believe this is a plug? I recall having a tire patched a while back but never actually looked at it after the work was done.

Does this look ok? If it is a plug it sort of looks like its working its way out. I have no idea really.

Am I in the clear here?

It's flush with the tread, which is how it should look.

So long as you aren't noticing a leak or the tire losing pressure, you're fine

Are those duratracs? I put a screw through one of mine about 3 months after getting them. I pulled the screw and plugged it myself with a kit from autozone or someplace. First attempt began leaking after a few months, so i pulled it and after i replaced it i haven't had a problem.

As many times as I've had tires plugged, I don't guess I've ever actually seen the plug after the fact. LOL

OK, I feel better now.

Yes they are duratracs.
