yeah 18 and broke I remeber that, then again im 23 and broke lol.. If you don't end up dumping the cash on rims the KM2 is a really good DD/WW tire no matter the width.. So it is a option for you if you need it.

There not a siped AT so I wouldn't expect them to be to good on snowy roads as far as a AT is concerned.. I've never seen anyone run them other then in the sand so as to mud and deep snow I am not sure on them in that case..

I called Cooper the other day and was told that the ST Maxx is replacing the ST and that the same sizes that are offered in the ST would be offered in the ST Maxx. The ST Maxx has a three-ply sidewall.

I knew the ST was gonna replace all the ST-C's and some of the ST's but I did not know it was supose to replace all the ST's. The ST Maxx having a tread pattern being very simialar to the duratrac but having a 3ply instead of a 2ply sidewall is gonna make it a very popular AT sooner rather then latter me thinks

You only need 8 inch wide rims to fit 12.5, i got 8 inch wide 15 inch crager 8 rims for about 45 bucks.

Im now running 33X10.50X15 bfg all terrains. $180 a piece
you can get 33X12.50X15 duratracs for 160

yep.. Yes you can.. usually for around 15 bucks a tire.. I really do like the general grabbers red letter AT's.. You won't be disapointed, especially if you sip them. From your avatar it looks like you have the 15x8 Canyon Rims.. They are wide enough for a 12.5in wide tire.. In fact 8in is perfect, You don't want to go any bigger then that.. where the issue comes into play with the stock rims is there back spacing which is why they will not work with the 12.5in wide tire..
When you put those general grabbers through the paces please post up a review on them. I would love to hear what you think of them. Like I said before, Ive seen them in the sand as that is what they were made for, but to hear about them from somebody who runs them in mud and snow would be cool.
