making my spare rim fit on the back????HELP

I have not got them put on yet, but I am about to get 17" with ATR tires this weekend. The paper work is in the jeep so not sure the exact tires, but I don't think it's going to fit under the break light on the back.

Suggestions?

Am I going to have to the break light off?

I am pretty sure it is legal to not have that light. Can I just take it off?

The brake light is required by law. You can use a different one, but you have to have one.
What size tires? My 31's were a little closer to the light than I liked, so I simply went to Lowe's and bought some spacers in the screws/hardware area. Pulled out the stock screws, ran them through the spacers, and tightened them. Has worked fine now for 8,000+ miles.

Be sure to check your screw size before you buy the spacers. You may need more room than I did, and therefore need longer screws.
