Metal close to tires

No idea if this is the right place.

Back tires have this sharp edge next to my tires. Kinda sketches me out. Is this safe or normal? Anything I can do?

Thanks!

grab a saw and whack off a piece at an angle. start right about where the fender liner or whatever that is in the pic is and go down at a 45 deg angle. plug the little hole that will open up with a touch of jb weld or something equal. google "trimming pinch seams jk" if you want more information.
had to trim mine when i went to bigger tires.
