Method VS Icon wheels

I now have a set of Icon Alpha in gunmetal in perfect condition, no rock scars. They are hub centric and have been great. But The Method 315's in machine finish have cought my eye and me being old school, I like them. They are also hub centric. My question is, are Method wheels the same quality as the Icon's are? Clear coat hold up over time? The 315's are a fairly new rim design. My Icon's look like they just came out of the box.

I`ve got Method 301`s in the machined finish that I`ve been running for awhile even through the New England winter...still look great.

Thanks,,, I am guessing that they are all made on the same street over there. Sometimes I look at that gunmetal Alpha and like it and other times wish I had the machine look like the old days. Someday I'll be looking for a new home for these mint Icon's.
