They do have a very rounded profile giving a larger than normal sidewall bulge, which is where section width is measured. I'm also on 9" wide wheels which might add a little... I used to have the S/T Maxx which was the opposite, a very square profile. These have grown on me and I like them better for sure.

I got them. I just went to another Discount Tire just a little farther down the road. I don't why my usual DT store could not get them, but this one could. Doesn't matter. I got me some! 315/70r17. I mounted them on some JL Rubicon wheels I scored from a friend.

I went ahead and bought new TPMS sensors, but my dash light will not go out.
I hope they were not a waste of money. Anyone have any ideas?

Glad to hear you were able to get them from one of the local Discount Tire stores. We have been getting a lot of good feedback from customers running the Milestar Patagonia tires.

The TPMS sensors should auto re-learn with about 30 minutes of driving. If yours are not working properly I would recommend stopping at the local DT store to have them scan the sensors.

Thank-you. I have been to the DT store already. They scanned the sensors and said they were all working properly. The installer said I should give it over 50 miles and they should be learned by the Jeep. We also bumped the tire pressure up to 35psi which is the pressure on the door for the stock tires.

I have also read about bumping psi up to 37 pounds for a bit. Not sure if that works or not.

Anyway, we'll see how it goes. I don't usually drive more than 30 minute distances to get anywhere around here. That may be the problem. Time to go for a drive I guess.

I bit the bullet, I ended up a set of (5) 315 75/r16 Patagonias off Amazon, at $145/tire, plus I had a $70 gift card and 5% cash back(prime card), it worked out to around 125/tire. I couldn't beat that price. I'm getting them installed at a local shop I've used in the past for $25/tire.
Dollar wise even if they get half the tread life of the ST maxx I'll be happy. I seem to put more miles on then most of the reviews I've been reading so I'll try to report back with tread life updates and general reviews.

Again, I love mine and got a very good deal on them at $195/tire but you stole yours! Even though yours are 16" that is still totally ridiculous and I keep saying I can't believe these can be had for what they can. They are very good tires to begin with and when you compare to $300/tire and above for other 35s it's amazing. I just put another set of 4 Cooper 19" tires on my wife's Land Rover at DT, which we use every time, and they were $1,190 and are normally $1,350. I got all 5 of my MS 35s for $975! Crazy.

I used the pro-cal that came with my AEV lift to shut off the TPMS entirely. I tried to mess with several settings and none of them really worked and the alert would come up every time I started my rig until and it was just annoying. Also, when you air down (if you do) for trails the system I drove for Also, 35psi or 37psi is way to much for these tires. That is what the shop set mine up with when installed but I lowered them to 30psi. A lot of guys are running them at 27, 28, 30 etc. They will wear more evenly and still run very well on the road at 30 - just my $.02

I had them set the pressure to 30 lbs when mounted. I run the TJ at 26 lbs on road.
I think I will return these sensors to Discount Tire. I don't know why they wouldn't take them back, they convinced me to buy something that doesn't work on my vehicle. I was not going to put them in. That $200 will go towards a programmer to shut the tpms light off.

I apologize the sensors are not working on your Jeep. Not sure why they wouldn't work as they are OE replacement sensors.

That was with tax, install, and replacement cents.

I know I could have saved a little by waiting for Walmart to get them back in stock but also now have replacement certificates and free rotations now. Both things Walmart couldn't do for me. Plus peice of mind knowing I trust Discount Tire more than Walmart.

No. My wheels just delivered today. My Jeep is currently stripped and sitting on jack stands awaiting the lift and installation of everything listed in my build thread (see signature).

Look small. Around 35 1/2"? or is that the angle? because my TOYO R/T 35's came in a 34.4 at 28psi.

35X12.50R18LTs are only $171.97! That is cheap. Too bad my TOYO R/T are wearing great with about 30K on them

All the DT I've dealt with have been great.

Not like the chick at Walmart that tried to tell me that tire's don't come in a 38 size. Had to be 235, 285, clearly didn't know a damn thing about tire's at my local Walmart.

Yup.

But I knew I would since I was set up to run 37s. Will need to get it dialed in by adjusting a few things and going a little cutting I think. That's going to have to wait a bit though as life is getting in the way of wheeling. Not rubbing on street use except at full turn in the front.

Ya, they seem short for a "38" and seem to be a true 36". They are certainly a good bit taller though than the worn 37" Toyo RT they replaced. I haven't had a chance to wheel them yet and may not for a while but the 37 Toyos didn't but these go at full turn in the front.

No worries. They are working now. I only bought 4 sensors and one of them was mounted on the spare carrier. I just bought one more and all is good.

I am really liking these Milestars. Smooth and quiet on the road so far. Much quieter than the MTRs on my TJ, and the Firestone MTs they replaced.

Glad to hear they are working now. Thank you for the update on the Milestar tires. We've been getting a lot of solid feedback on them.
