Need some help with wheels

This is going to seem like a horrible question but I have been getting some conflicting information and I am afraid I will end up spending a ton of money on wheels that don't fit. I have a 2011 Rubicon that is completely stock so far. I am looking to run 33x12.5 tires (without a lift for the time being), the wheels I have come down to are 17X8 with a 5X5 bolt pattern, +6MM offset, and 4.75" backspace (hub size is 71.5). Will these work? Thanks for the help.

Yes, this wheel and tire combo will bolt up without any rubbing but if you think you might want to run a larger tire in the future I would recommend choosing a slightly wider wheel. (8.5 or 9" wide would be a better fit for 12.5" wide tires.)

Clearly I should be shopping at Discount and not the tire rack. I am getting completely contradictory info from them, but it seems like you know what you are talking about so, if it is OK with you I am going to bug you again. Exactly what I am looking at are the Momba MR-1 wheels (17x8 with the 4.75BS) and BF Mud Terrain 305/65R17 tires. Do you think these will work without a lift and without sticking out too much. Thanks a ton for the help.

305/65R17's are really a better fit on a wheel that is at least 8.5" wide. (Tire manufacturers recommend 8.5-11" wide wheels 9" would be ideal.)

Can the 305/65R17 be mounted on a 8" wide wheel, yes but you may not get what you would expect out of your tires when it comes to life and performance. It might also be hard to find a local installer that is willing to mount them for you. (due to the Tire manufacturer's recommendations mounting a tire outside of them voids all tire and wheel warranties.)

If you like the wheels I'd recommend running a 295/70R17 instead. 295/70R17 is a little taller and only a hair narrower. This size is approved for 8" wide wheels.

A 295/70R17 and 17x9 4.75" BS wheel and tire combo would fit great on a Jk with or without a lift. These would sit pretty flush with the outer edge of your fenders.

Hope this helps!

Extremely helpful, I can't thank you enough. I will look for some different wheels. Thanks for saving me one heck of a headache and you definitely just gained a customer for discount.
