New owner need help with wheel info

Hello Jeepers,

I picked up this 16 Rubi with this tire/wheel setup 18" wheel with KM2s MT, I am not overly found of this simulated beadlock look it has going on, or understand the function it may have the way it is currently on my wheel.

I have few questions about my wheels and tire.
and you guys are the best to ask.

Wheels
1. Can I remove this ring? and will the screws screw all the way in and look like a normal wheel?
2. Does it serve any purpose sticking out about a half of an inch away from the wheel? ( I have never seen a beadlock look like this)
3. Can anyone identify what wheels these are so I can compare if I want to keep them are not? ( I think they are ok lookin)

Tires
1. KM2s, they are brand new but MT does not work for me, I need an all terrain asap, Can I trade or get good resale for these?

2. Will an All Terrain strech as wide and give a smiliar look/stance as the KM2s?

Thanks for help in advance, I replaced a hotrod camaro with this jeep, as I have a few cars but missed my old XJ, so I went back to a jeep.

those are mopar bead locks and they can be used as normal rims or as bead locks. Nice rims for sure.

AT?s should have about the same stance as the MT?s but not as much tread depth, get the KO2?s if you buy BFG Brand tires.

So is that why is sticks out and not sitting flush against the rim? does it move in further or is a wider tire needed to strech it out to the bead lock lip?

They are mounted in a standard manner. With beadlock rings.

Either have them remounted as beadlocks. Or get the “decorative trim rings”. Or sell me the wheels...

Regarding tires. I really like my BFG KO2s. Given your location I believe you would as well. AT vs MT doesn’t matter on the “stance”. Size is what matters.

Selling used tires can be a challenge. Depends on your local market though.

I may just do that.. meaning sell them if they are wanted.. I saw they are not cheap, and seem to be popular.these are not that old however I'm just not sure I'm fond of them so far. Any idea on the market or value you can get for these or these with the km2s?

if you could find the right buyer probably $2000-2500 for everything.

Pretty decent value then.. the tires are about brand new, the wheels look not that far behind them in age. The jeep is only little over a year old when I picked it up last week, old owner had just bought the tires..
