New sneakers

Bought a 2008 4 door sahara. Everything is stock. I need some advice as to tire sizes and rims to replace the existing. Would love to lift her but just isn't in the budget right now. Thanks in advance.

Leave the tire size alone and invest in some tires that are more suitable for your intended terrain than what the factory gave you. Within the realm of normal, non-silly-hardcore off-road use, the right tread pattern and a bit of driver skill should get you where you need to go.

I've always preferred a mild M/T like the older-style BFG M/Ts for spring-summer-fall, and a dedicated snow/ice tire for winter. That has proved a safe and versatile combination for dirt, mud, sand, and light rocks, plus icy winter roads.
