New Tires

Going with new tires this week on 2015 unlimited sport that has Fuel wheels with 4.5 backspacing and 2.5 suspension lift. Looking at Toyo AT2 and a few others, but question is if I go to 275 or 285/75/17 will I need to do anything else to axles or suspension. I want 35's but have the 3.21 gears and would need to upgrade which I still may do. If so what would be the recommendation on gearing - 3.73? This is a DD and mild off road. Also what else would 35's require to axles as suppose to 33's?

I really like the AT2s the wife has them in 35s on her 2010 JKUR. I will say that with the 3.8 and 4.10 gears I would like to regear to a 4.88 or something like that. In the mountains at hwy speeds it likes to search for a gear. I probably wouldn't recommend a 35 on a 3.21. I guess if you live in flat land you could live with it but my guess is you wouldn't be able to get out of your own way. I guess also you would need to define light wheeling as well. A lot of folks that I have read on the forums wouldn't put a 35 on a dana 30, some will swear that it is o.k. A general agreement though even from dudes with 35s on dana 44s in C gussets. Others will say to sell your axels if you can and find some dana 44s. I guess if you break your axle you can always upgrade right? I have heard that with the 3.6L 4.10s on 35s is the pretty much perfect for highway speeds. Best I can do...
