New wheels and tires. 2010 JKU

It's finally time to upgrade my wheels and tires from stock. I've done a bit of research, but still feel like I'm missing something.

I'm looking at a set of 18x9 wheels with 0 offset. Wrapping them with some 285/70r18. This sounds like it might fit, but only barely. I do intend on putting a 1.5" or 2" lift on down the road.

Honestly, I really get to change to get off pavement. So, I'm only minimally concerned with any flexing more than I would run into climbing over or dropping of a curb. (Some parking lots just aren't worth the search for a driveway, am I right?)

I know I'm overlooking something, or I'm just outright wrong. Please, help educate me, and prevent me from making a mistake that will bit me down the road.

Thanks in advance, the folks here have always been helpful, and I've learned a lot reading through the questions asked by others.
