newbie-help w/ wheel choice!

HI..I have a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited, 4dr. It is used for work, both street and gravel roads. Am needing new tires, as already have 68K on stock set. Thinking about Goodrich Duratrec 33x12.5x17 as just put a 2.5/3" lift on. Any thoughts on what the Mickey Thompson Classic Lock in black would be like? The body is silver and I have a RockHard rear bumper and tire carrier. Any other good choices? Would like an aggressive look, but still maintain a classic appearance!! Thanks

FWIW R16 and above only comes in metric size tires.. For the duratrac's in a R17 your options would be for the 33x12.5 comparison a 285/70/17 (33x11/17) or 315/70/17 (34.5x12.5/17)

So, would the MT 17x9 classic lock in black wheel work w/ the 285/70/17 tire? Thanks

Yes, that will fit fine, but with 2.5" lift you could put on a larger tire...... 33's are fine, but the JK can take a 35" tire with that much lift, iirc....

Yep 17x9 is what you want. Just remember to order 17x9 rims with the right bolt pattern
