Ride needs new shoes...

Running a 2015 jkur with a lot of steel armor. Current stock tires are chit. I would like my fellow jeep peeps to enlighten me about a suggestion for tires.

70 miles round trip to work, highway. Weather is cooling off, playing more off road, once or twice a month. I am in AZ, therfore terrain consists of sand, loose dirt/rocks, steep inclines/declines, dry river bottoms. Not much snow nor mud in the desert. I will play in mud if it's there. I have a lovely set of black rock steel wheels waiting for new shoes.

Thanks for your assistance.

Sounds like a hybrid might do you well, if you don't mind the slight increase in road noise.
I put on Mickey Thompson ATZ P3, pretty happy with them, ride smooth. I don't DD them though.

I run Mickey Thompson MTZ's they may be a bit aggressive for your needs. Look at the ATZp3 it's an outstanding tire. A buddy runs them on his tow rig and Jeep and loves them.
