Ridge Grappler Pressure on 2 Door (34Ē)

Iíve got about 1000 miles on my 285/75R17 and have run from 38-30PSI and Iím not a big fan. Iíll chalk test this weekend, but looking for input from anyone else running these on a 2 door.

PSI cold or at running temp?
I've been running 30-31 PSI at peak temp
that means at start my PSI cold is down around27-28 PSI
I typically gain around 2-3 PSI coming up to temp.

i'm not real happy yet
smooth asphalt roads feel like rough concrete
i'm not sure if its just the aggressive tread
wrong air pressure/shock settings
or if I need a more refined wheel balance

Same exact complaint. I had Duratracs prior, they were louder but much smoother. Will keep tweaking these, just not impressed yet. Thank you.

Are these the "C" load rating or "E" load rating. That will make a LOT of difference!

I just ordered a set of Ridge Grapplers in 285/75/17 load C. Cannot imagine them being rougher than the Mud Terrains.......

I ran cooper st max 285/75 17 which would be similar on my 2 door at 26Ė28 psi.

C...I'm sure they'll be much better than M/T's.

been as low as 26psi and as high as 37psi
3 of my tires feel smooth ,but the rt front feels like rough concrete above 60mph.
i'm going in to have another crack at balancing
also going to swap it out with the spare .
just not sure what order

just as a follow up

if your ridge grapplers are feelin rough have them rebalanced .
turns out 3 of my 5 were out ,some worse then others .
in my case the wheels were over balanced.

either way between 27-34 psi they should be smooth
the tread is aggressive but shouldn't feel that way
