Rim Tire Package Recommendations

Hey All. We have just purchased our first 09 Wrangler Sahara. Very Happy! So the first thing we agreed on was changing the wheel stance. Want to get a wider look. So the options are Spacers or buying new rims and putting current factory tires on the new rims or buying 5 new rims and tires and selling the 5 rims and tires we have to offset the price. Spacers is obviously the cheaper route without any other changes, but we both like the look of black rims. So, I'm researching rims and rim and tire packages. (not sure if we're going to buy new tires or not yet as these have a lot of life yet). #1) There are a million sites out there selling rims and tires, any advice on who is reputable and who to stay away from? #2 Current tires are stock 255/70/18. Looking at going to 285/65/18. Mostly interested in going wider. Any thoughts on Tire brand? #3) What brand wheel do I stay away from? Thanks!

We may be a bit bias, but Discount Tire Direct!

DTD gurantee's the lowest out the door price on all the products they offer. DTD also mounts, road force balances, and ships tire and wheel packages for no additional charge.

PM coming your way!
