Stock Rubicon (Recon) Wheels

I am looking at purchasing a set of General Grabber X3
35 X12.50R17 LT 121Q E2 RED and would like to know if my stock wheels would fit, or do I need to get some aftermarket wheels?

Thanks in advance!

Minimum recommended rim width is 8.5". Your rim is 7.5" wide. It will work but might look "pinched".

Some tire shops will not mount those. Plus you'll need a set of 1.5" wheel spacers.

I would mount tires that called for 8" rims I would not mount tires that called for 8.5" rims altho many do it. Most 315/70-17 say 8" rims are ok and if you look at Discount tire they say 315/70-17 can be mounted on 7.5" rims so that is what I would look at.

I had a 2009 Rubicon with 17x7.5 stock wheels and the 35"KM2 fit fine. Discount Tires told me on the second set I tried to buy that they could not install on anything less than 8" wide wheel.
I now have a 2018 "RECON" Unlimited and had to get 17x9 wheels for the BFG KM3s I am adding.

A lot of tire shops won't mount them due to liability.

I’m in the same predicament. I’m overseas and it’s hard to find someone who will ship a wheel and tire package. I’m hoping the tire shop in base will do me a solid and mount 35 X12.5 on my stock wheels.
