Taking the Plunge this Weekend!

This weekend I'm going for it. I'm buying a lift for my 15 Unlimited, I'm going with 2.5, but keeping the stock 17in rims. So would the BFG KO2's in a 34x10.5 be ok without wheel spacer/adapter? Does anyone run this and has any pictures of it?

I ended up with the Rubicon Express 2.5 with mono tubes. Now it sits in the garage waiting until I can get some wheels to go with it.

IMO You'll need wheel spacers, the rear end links will most likely rub.

The wife's Jeep we did 2.5" lift & 315/70/17 which are a little wider (12.5"). We had to do 1.75" spacers and trim the air dam.

But you can try it without them, just install then run the rear suspension up and down and watch to see if the end links rub. If they do then add spacers.

The link to my wife's build is in my sig, there's pics of it there.

Good luck!

I'll only need the spacers if I plan on keeping the stock rims though right? I think I'm planning on getting after market rims just so I don't have to keep up with the spacers like making sure they are tight every now and then. But thanks for the info, I checked out the rigs and they are both nicely done. Keep up the good work!

Thanks, DjS!

You're correct, you'll need to get your backspace down to 4.5"-5" for that size tire. So make sure the rims you look at will get you there. IMO shoot for 4.5" so you have some room to grow.
