Tell me if these wheels will work...

Hello there, I'm still a little new to the Jeep world... so bare with me..

I have a 2 door, '14 JK Sport, with stock 17x10 inch wheels. I'm not out to do crazy rock crawling/off roading.. So I'm looking to put some tall and skinny wheels on. like 17x6.5

I've done some research, and have read about wheels on here, and all the measurements.. but still just looking to get some reassurance before I pull the trigger on them..

Would THESE wheels work? and if so, would I need anything extra to make them work?

Here's the link: https://goo.gl/AHZNpV

Here's a picture of what the wheels would look like on the Jeep.

Thanks guys! Maybe someday I'll know enough to give advice. lols.

Stock 17” rims are 7.5” wide.

Oh, then I guess mine aren't stock..

The current tire size is: P255/75R17, which is a ten inch wheel.

Would the ones I'm looking at work tho?

I think you might be confused. A stock tire on a 10” in rim is unlikely.

I may be. Again, i'm new at this.

I bought my jeep pre owned.. so what i know for a fact is the current tires are Goodyear and P255/75R17..

which, from what I understand, would make the wheel a 17x10 inch wheel. Is that right or wrong?

A 255/75-17 tire comes stock on a 17x7.5 rim a 255/75-17 tire on a 17x10 rim will look funny. Not sure what else I can say.

I think you may be confusing tire width with wheel (or rim) width. The stock wheel is 17x7.5 The stock 255/75-17 tire is considered to be 10” wide.
