Tire changer mods

Earlier last year I made some changes to the Harbor Freight tire changer/bead breaker I have and forgot about the pictures I took. Just added some comments and thought Id share.
Some additional advice: watch No-Mars youtube vids on using their removal/install bar, great advice on dismounting/mounting tires with it.
DO NOT use the Harbor Freight bar, it is more dangerous than it is useful.
Practice dismounting/mounting tires with whatever you have that isnt cared about too much (spare tire, crappy wheel/tire from another vehicle)

I changed quite a few tires since making the changes and find the HF product to be more than adequate for my needs.

Forgot to say that if you add the 1/2-20 screws to base matching stock hole pattern theres no need for any additional clamping other than the lug nuts.
If changing tires on one of our other vehicles the lug but studs are easily removed from the base and then I use the 4 armed clamp and Teflon blocks. Clamp with blocks help keep from totally screwing up aluminum rims.
