Tire idiot here, please help!

What's up everybody? I have a 2013 Wrangler.

It has stock wheels and smaller tires. I don't like that. I'd like to add either larger, more aggressive tires, or larger more aggressive tires plus new wheels to make my jeep look more rugged and stocky, plus maybe gain a couple inches height. However, at this time I do not want to lift my jeep. I get a headache trying to understand all the backspacing, etc. I go to tirerack and try to customize a package and constantly get the notification that I'll need to lift the jeep.

Any suggestions? Also will I need to purchase new TPMS sensors?

Any help is appreciated

The reason tirerack and places like that say a 33 won't fit without a lift is because it's partially true. If you intend to stay on the streets then 33's like 285/70/17, 305/65/17, 285/75/16, 305/70/16, 33/12.5/15 for example will be fine without a lift but if you plan on taking your rig off road then you are going to rub your fenders or worse when flexed. I have 305/70/16's with a Tearflex leveling kit (1.5" lift) with extended bump stops and I get zero rubbing both on and off road so it's a great inexpensive combo for running 33's properly.
