Tire mounting tricks

I just got some used 33x12.5x15 and 15x8 wheels, but I can't get them on and I'm too stubborn to go to a shop to do it!

I can get the half the tire on, but I can't get the second bead over the wheel. I'm using some soapy water, and a couple of tire irons but once it gets to about half way over I can't get the rest of it to pull over. They have a pretty shallow drop center which is making it harder.

So does any one have any tricks to getting stubborn tires on? Would leaving them in the sun help? More tire irons?

Not an easy task. You might need bigger tire irons, no idea what you are using now. Tire Pliers are supposed to be great. Watch some youtube videos for techniques.

I have beadlocks, so it is much easier. My preference would be to pay the tire shop, but I fully understand the desire to know how to diy.

I finally got one last night!! I figured out my issue was that once I was getting to the far side, the part already in was slipping into the bead making it to tight, a shoved a block of 2x4 under the lip to keep the tire down and it went in super easy! But never heard of tire pliers, I'll look into them.
