Tire options

I have decided to change out my MTs for AT's. However now I am not sure what brand I should get. I am a tossup between 2. I orders General Grabbers AT2, however they are on back order and I have been waiting for a month. Seems like they are on manufacture backorder...Anyway I am not sure if I should continue to wait or look into other options.

The option I was looking into is Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac or Cooper Discover S/T LT. As much as I'd like to go off road, I unfortunately do not. With that being said, I just need a street tire for an everyday use. I would like something that looks aggressive and a decent price. Presently live in MD, so weather here crazy. So Id like something reliable on dry and snowy conditions.

I am open to any other opinions and brands of tires I should look into.

Duratracs rock, and if you join Tread Lightly - Home you can get $100 rebate on them Many of us have them, wheel them, DD them and love them!

Grabbers are good. Since I just bought 4 last week, I doubt they are on backorder. Shop around. I had to wait 3 days for them to arrive, but that's not too bad. That was my fist stop, too. Same place I always go. They handled great in the 2 monsoons I drove through since getting them. Judging by the several cars/trucks that were into the wall and ditches, hydroplaning was common. The grabbers had no issue at all.

I have been looking online, 33x12.5x15's, and pretty much every site I have looked on are backordered. It's not like they aren't a common size, but I guess high demand. Who knows.

I'm debating GT Grabbers and GY Duratracs, myself. The Jeep is my daily driver so I'm looking for the same thing.

I just purchased a set of general grabbers AT2 235/85/16 here tires online @ tires-easy.com: tire dealer for cheap passenger, summer, winter tires best price I could find and had them at my door 3 days later. I bought them because of the great reviews and I liked the aggressive looks of them. the 235/85/16 is a 32" tire with a 9" width. $133.70ea. and 90.97 shipping for four.

Here is a direct link to that tire. http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.p...35&sowigan=GAN
