Tire Size?

How big can i go on tires with 15 inch wheels without a lift? I just want to know a general size, i dont want to lift my jeep and i want 15 inch wheels. I have a 2011 2 door sport...thanks, been on the forum for two days now and am loving it.

I'm not real sure, but if it's any help, I have 31's on mine at the moment, mounted to 15" x 7.5" stock Grizzlies with no problems at all. Looks decent too.

Wheel size doesn't effect so much how big of a tire you can run but how much sidewall you will have.. As to what size tire can you run on a 15 inch wheel with the proper back spacing for a JK.. That would be 33x12.5/15's.. However running 33's on a stock JK doesn't leave you a lot of room for flex if you offroad your jeep.. So you must take that into account.. The next size down tire for a 15 inch rim would be a 32x11.5..

I think your tires will hit your fenders when flexing perhaps causing fender damage.. I guess it all depends on the type of places you wheel.. If it's fairly flat then you won't have to much of a issue I think but if there are obsticles that cuase your front axle to flex either way it will cause your tires to stuff up into your flares pretty quickly leading to the possibility of damage.. While 33's is the max size you can run on a stock JK I would go down to the 32x11.5 since you want to run a 15 inch rim and leave the room for flex and knowing that your fenders are pretty much safe from damage via tire rub

I'm pretty sure 15 wheels won't fit on a new jeep due to brake size to large
