Tire size

I have a 2014 unlimited sport which had 17” stock rims and put Sahara stock 18” on do I need to recalibrate the speedometer

If the tires are a different diameter, then you will need to recalibrate the speedo because they'll turn at different speeds..

It's not just the rim size, the tire size (such as 255/75R17) is the most important. What sizes were your old tires and new tires?

So the old ones are 255/75R17 the new ones are 255/70R18

that is very close in height so no recalibration necessary

Thanks!!pretty much got brand new tires and rims for dirt cheap couldn’t pass it up
