Tire size opinions

I'm looking for opinions and experiences, no need for scientific data:

I'm looking to mount Duratrac's on my 94 YJ. I have DC2's waiting for rubber. My current set up is a Jeep wheel with BFG AT 31X10.50. My YJ has the 2.5, which is tough on inclines, but manageable with the manual tranny.

Now, from experiences, what will the DTs (either 33X10.50 or 32X12.50) do to the Jeep? Will be extremely different from the 31's, or is it negligible? My goal is to replace the axle/gearing, but that is down the road. I don't want to buy a tire that is too large in anticipation of upgrading the axle's.

What say you all concerning the difference in pulling the 31's compared to the larger tire?

If it's a dd stick with 31's if you have another vehicle go with 33's.

I agree with SirCanni. 33x12.50x15 tires decreased the power of my 6cyl and I felt the need to regear. I'd stick with 31" tires and buy some skid plates.

Duratracs are a lighter tire.

Many Jk guys run 33's with a smaller/lighter 15" wheel. Few lbs lighter then stock each wheel.
Depending on your size/weight stock- is something to consider.
