Tires and rim help....

Hi everyone...I'm currently looking to get some new tires and rims for my 04 TJ. I'm thinking of a 2.25 budget boost with shocks, a set of dc-2's possibly with 31x10.50 BFG all terrains. I'm actually a little undecided on the rims...seems like everyone runs them. I plan on getting a set of the rugged ridge fender flares as well later on so I don't want the tires sticking out too much. My question is whether or not this is going to look right on my tj? Not so much the flares but the tire/wheel/lift mentioned above. My jeep doesn't see much off roading if any. To the beach some which is about 5 hrs away....so I need a setup that is still somewhat efficient since it is driven on trips pretty often. I just wanna make sure what I'm getting looks good. Should I go with a bit of a bigger tire? Is that lift gonna be too much for the 31's? Any help is greatly appreciated....my jeep is a work in progress as I am a noob jeep owner for the most part. I will try and post a pic of how it stands now soon....

2 inch w/ 31's will be perfect for you. I had the Skyjacker 2 inch BB, make sure you get the hydro shocks. Inexpensive and held up for many years on mine. You can fit a 32" tire but then you lose on performance and mpg. It's not much but not worth it IMO. My original plans were a 32 but I never did. Do you have a phone app? It's easier to find the picture section. Google search will show you anything you want. Just include Wrangler forum and whatever your looking for in the title. Good luck
