TPMS cost?

Hello,
so I got new wheels and tires for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler and was planning on getting the TPMS from my stock wheels put into my new ones, but because of miscommunication they were not put in. I figured, hey I've looked at TPMS systems online and they aren't that expensive, I'll just buy new ones instead of breaking down all 5 new tires and all 5 old ones. Talking to the service manager, he said it would be about $150 to buy each TPMS new, however I looked online and found a set of 5 for under $60. Is there something different between what he is trying to sell me vs what I found? Just markup? anyone know where I can get TPMS for a reasonable price?
thanks!

Mickey Thompson 28308 - Schrader TPMS Sensor for 07-16 Jeep Wrangler - Quadratec

I am swapping tires on my 2015 Sahara. I will try to use the old TPMS on the new wheels.

They are not cheap. $55 dollars each

They are the exact same ones if you are talking about eBay or Amazon. Same exact sensor as getting them thru mopar or your dealer

I did this same route. Whatever you do don't let the tire place scam you on the spot for a gouged rate.

I was looking for some for my 2015 and found these below, which will also fit your 2013. The 2013 and up use a 433 MHz frequency, which these are. $67.95 from Amazon.

I have a 2014... sold my factory wheels and tires with the TPMS sensors. Skeptical, I bought the ones off amazon and was please to find out they work just like the originals... I too was baffled at the ridiculously high prices being asked elsewhere.

I bought the ebay units and they work great on my 2016. No programing, no hassle. Just installed the new sensors in the new wheels and everything works.

I used this ebay seller and did the make offer option. I picked them up for $42.50. One sensor was destroyed in transit and the seller replaced it without hassle or delay.

I have the same concern. I ordered BF Goodrich 35x12.5x17 and have pro comp wheels coming too as well. Will the tire place usually transfer the TPMS?
