Upgrading wheels

Just bought a new jk unlimited sahara, want upgrade wheels, what is the biggest tire and wheel I van put on without lifting and/or backspacing? I like the rugged ridge wheels saw them on a jk with 305/65/17, looked great. Would that work or I need to lift?
