want to put 31's on

i have a 01 tj with no lift yet and for some reason the person before me put the canyon wheels off a grand cherokee wich are 15x7 insted of the wrangler 15x8 canyon. what im wondering is i wana put 31x10.5x15 will they work? and does anyone have any pics of their jeeps that have 31's on them? would apreciate the feedback thanks

They should be fine, some people get rubbing and some don't. I happen to be part of the ones that don't.

I run a 31x10.5/15 on stock canyon wheels

guy i ran with this weekend. it rubbed under with the sway bars discoed but no issues he ran some hard trails with it too

Any rubbing on the control arms can be solved by adding a couple washers to the steering stops. Rubbing when discoed ^ is minimal and you'll generally have no issues.
