I'm ready to get new tires (duratracs) and I need new black lug nuts.

This are my Pro Comp X Alloys. As you can see they're starting to rust. This was after 3 tire rotations.

So thumbs down on these. Any brand I should look for?

What about these? I assume the black paint will eventually wear on any lugs.

The discount tire direct guy that roams around here said that the black lugs they sell won't chip. I would tell you if that was true or not but thy sent me the wrong ones (chrome) and I didn't have time to waste so I ended up just throwing on the chrome ones:/

I had gorillas on my last rig and no issues, even after 2 rotations (sold the rig after those 2.)

x4 gorilla's black lug nuts are what Discount Tire sent with my wheel/tire combo. They are locking lugs and you need to use the keyed socket that comes with them to put them on or remove them.

I got mine from Discount as well. Not black, but they haven't started rusting here in the heart of the rust belt.
