Wheel and tire advice needed

I'm sure this has been asked at some point, so please be kind. I'm currently running 16x8.5 wheels (-6 offset) on 315-75-16 tires. I'm looking at a set of Fuel Vector D580's that are 17x9 (-12 offset) and putting a set of 35x12.5 on them. I searched all over the internet and it appears the backspacing on the Fuel wheels is 4.5". Would I have any issues with the new setup rubbing or sticking out too far or even fitting properly? I'm a bit of a noob as one might gather from my questions. Thanks in advance.

The 17x9 ET-12 will sit similar to your current 16x8.5 ET-6 so you'll be in good shape

The only difference besides looks is that the 17x9 ET-12 will sit 1/2" further out. The 16x8.5 ET-6 also has 4.5-inches of backspace.
