wheel backspacing

Looking at getting black wheels. Have a stock 2010 unlimited sport.

Backspacing question. I have 255/75 17 now. want to go to 285/70 17 or 255/80 17 in the future. I know everyone on here says go with 4.5 back spacing. The guy at the store said that +18 (bs of 5.25) will work fine with no problems and keep the tire in the fender.

Anyone running 285/70 17 on a sport with 5.25 bs with no rub?

Wheel I am looking at comes in 4.5 or 5.25:

MB Wheels Chaos 5 custom rims

5.25 bs will rub the sway bar on compression while turning. Go with the 4.5 you will be happier in the long run.

He's wrong.

Damon1 is correct. Go with 4.5bs.
