Wheel/Tire Setup OK/Validation

Hi, all.

After running stock on my '11 Sahara, it is time for new wheels/tires.

Really liking the Charcoal Mammoth Boulders (16s or 17s) and just want to make sure I can run what I am thinking I can with no rubbing, etc.

So for tires it is down to WildPeak AT3s or DuraTracs (all things being mostly equal but for looks, really, well and price, too) but SIZE is the question, as always.

Based on what I read in the sticky, I am pretty sure I can run 285s? Looking at either 285/75/16 or 285/70/17 in either of those tires. Can I step up any more without lifting or should I quit while I am ahead (Rancho 2" Sport Lift has been calling to me a lot, too)?

Should I go with 16 wheels with the 285s in WPs (e-rated) or DTs(e-rated)?
Should I go with 17 wheels with the 285s in WPs (e-rated) or DTs (D-rated)?

95% daily driver in New England, too.

Thanks a lot, gang.

I purchased 5 285/70/17 Falken wild peaks in a P rating and had them mounted on my stock 17" rims. I've got a leveling kit and no spacers. Love the ride, no noise or rubbing.
