Will 285/75/16's fit?

Quick question:

A buddy of mine has a jk 2door and is looking to get some new rubber. She has 16x8's with 4" BS and is equipped with a 3/4 Daystar coil spacer lift. Can she put on 285/75/16's and be fine? Or will they rub or simply not fit?

Any info is welcome, thanks

they will be perfect.. Infact I would recomend that as a good option for tire size on your buddy's JK

Ok cool. Thanks XJ Knight. I was thinking about doing that set up aswell on my TJ, but I don't know if I should. I was thinking 33x12.5/r15's just to save some money. Any opinions/ pointers?

If you can clear a 33 on your TJ then I would stick to the 33x12.5/15 or the alot less common 33x10.5/15. Not worth the higher cost of tire imo to be running a 16in rim..

285 X 75 X 16 tire on a 16 X 8 rim with 4.5" backspacing. No lift.

Especially with a 3/4" spacer, you shouldn't have any problems.
