Will 33's fit without a lift?

I am waiting on my 2012 JKU to ship out from Toledo but have already purchased her new shoes - Nitto Trail Grappliers 285/65R18's.
1 - Will I need to get a lift with these tires? It will be my DD and mostly be on roads - some light off roading on trails.
2 - I have heard the the axle ratio will make a difference in how it drives with bigger tires. Mine will have a 3.21 gear ratio. Will this drastically affect the pick up etc? I am debating as to whether I should reorder one with a 3.73 gear ratio?

If you know you want to upsize tires then you will be money ahead to upgrade gears when you order.... No one ever wishes they had gone with higher gears....

Yeah, that's what I figured. I guess while my jeep sits in Toledo waiting for a train I will see what my local dealers have on their lots already - UGH.
