Will these tires fit?

I am trying to find some tires that will fit my 17x9 sized wheel. I think that this will fit but I am not sure. Please let me know if you can help.
Here is the link to the tires: Pro Comp Radial X-Terrain Tire, 31x10.50R-15 and Other Jeep Parts and Jeep Accessories by 4 Wheel Drive Hardware-RH1

No these will not. You see how the tire size is 31x10.50-15?

That last number, 15, is the rim size that the tire will fit on. You would need a tire that would say 31x10.50-17 because you have a 17 inch rim.

I have also seen tires with a 17" but they also have these other numbers such as this: 265/70R17. What does the 265 and 70 mean
