Will this work?

I have a 95 yj and i am about to buy 5 31 inch tires but they are 17s, im running 15s now and i was wondering if i would need to do any trimming or anything like that and if they would rub in the front on turning.

Trimming? What size are you running now? Rub while turning? Need to k ow what the back spacing is and how wide the tire you want is. Also.is the 17 rim a 5x4.5 bolt pattern?

The tires im running now are 235 75 by 15 (im not sure about the width ill check tomorrow) but im still looking at 17s to buy so idk what backspacing yet. The tire i am looking at is about as narrow as my tires i have on now just taller. and yes the wheels will be 5x4.5
